> Add the hosted theStacc MCP server to Cursor and sign in with theStacc.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add the server">
    Add this to `~/.cursor/mcp.json` (every project) or `.cursor/mcp.json` (one project):

    ```json theme={null}
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "thestacc": {
          "url": "https://mcp.thestacc.com/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
    ```
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in">
    Open **Cursor Settings > MCP** and click the login button next to theStacc. Your browser opens theStacc: log in, pick the project and permissions, and click **Approve**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Try it">
    In the agent chat, ask *"Use thestacc to show this week's social posts"*.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  Cursor works best with fewer tools. Grant only the permissions you need (for example Social only) so the assistant sees a short, focused list.
</Tip>
