# Connect theStacc to Gemini CLI

> Add the hosted theStacc MCP server to Google's Gemini CLI and sign in.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add the server">
    ```bash theme={null}
    gemini mcp add --transport http thestacc https://mcp.thestacc.com/mcp
    ```
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in">
    Start `gemini` and run:

    ```
    /mcp auth thestacc
    ```

    Your browser opens theStacc: log in, pick the project and permissions, and click **Approve**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Try it">
    Ask *"Use thestacc to find my top SEO actions"*.
  </Step>
