Framer lets you customize the slug for every static page and every CMS item. Slug rules apply universally across the platform.
Use lowercase letters. Use hyphens to separate words, not underscores. Drop stop words like “the,” “and,” and “of” where possible. Keep slugs short and descriptive. Avoid dates or year numbers in the slug since those age content fast and force redirects later.

In the CMS template, select the dynamic image element. In the right inspector, find the Alt Text field under Accessibility. Click the lightning-bolt icon. Bind it to your Featured Image Alt field on the collection.

Custom fonts come third. Loading four font weights from Google Fonts blocks rendering. Limit font weights to two per family. Use Framer’s font preload setting on critical weights and font-display: swap so text renders before fonts arrive.
